SG League 1 Finished - Post your feedback here
First of all I want to thank all players and clans and admins who made this league possible.
The goal of this league was to create more activity in clangames, and thanks to the league this goal has been achieved. Both friendly as 'official' matches were played.
Both groups each had a team that did not play any matches, but if we disregard those teams and 1 clan that died, all matches were eventually played.
I would like to congratulate the winners: team Bacon in group B and team mS in group A. A final between winners was not planned but could play one if those teams agree.
Next I would like to award team LuckyGen for their fairplay. In their game vs mS they kept there arrangement to play an certain day even when some players did not show and replacements had to be found. Second, in the game vs Nox they agreed to play 3v3 instead of 4v4 because Nox lost one player.
I hope you all enjoyed this, but you can use this topic to post your feedback and criticism about anything concerning this league, so that the next one can be better !
PS: Special thanks to Donnie and Nixito

Thanks! It's been a lot of fun, much more than daily jeux slaughter.
My feedback:
- let's play the final!
- let's organize it again
- next time let's organize a one big league and let teams who can gather for more games have an edge over those who are slacking. Make it run for a month so everyone has plenty of time to schedule games.
- next time let's require all players submitted to the league to be registered on this forum and post at least once. Maybe an applications subforum with one thread per each team? This will ensure players are aware of this place and are able to use it.
- do not forbid shotguns, they didn't play a big role at all in actual gameplay so there's no need
- 2 maps up to 7 points I think is a very good setting and we should stay with it. If anything, we could make it shorter not longer.
- we need to set alternative password for each league game different than standard one to avoid random people popping in and distracting. We could pre-generate those passwords (base them on clan names for example) and distribute among team captains on league launch.
- death chat should stay on
- remove Hang'em High from map list, it's not fit for playing BR at all.
- league admins should have rcon on sg.wars
More to come. :-)

I agree with pretty much everything you said there, Donnie! The only thing I don't know if I'd agree with is removing Hang 'em High. I happen to quite enjoy it as a BR map, although the flow of it is MUCH different from your average BR map. Then again, I haven't played that map against an experienced team before. That might change my opinion real quick. Also, most players hardly have any experience on it at all, so it could almost be used as a secret weapon for experienced players. ...so all in all, I guess I'm torn on whether I like Hang 'em High in the league or not.
And in regards to doing a final game, I'd love to do a final. I'm in a situation where I won't be SGing much, but we'll definitely see what we can do.
