SG Nations Cup: November / December 09

#sg.wars will be hosting a cup for nationsteams in November / December.
Obviously, only players with the nationality of the team can play for the team of that nation.

I am considering a rule to allow only 3 players of a nationsteam to from the same clan. Too make sure there is some 'mixing' of players from different clans.

Game Rules will most likely be the same as from the leagues.


The cup will start after the league is finished and will run for about 2 weeks (longer if there are more teams)

Teams will be formed by a teamcaptain. nation/team captains will be decided by the admins or by vote if there are multiple candidates for a certain team.

Team/nation captains will be decided at the end of September, so that they have enough time to find players and form a line up.

Ehem mouly sorry but i have to protest the rules...
At first the most player want to play more as 4 vs 4.
So set please 6 vs 6 I think its not to much.
And if there are not enaugh player in nelgium USA or italy, i am sure that
or SG-Player who life there have more then 3 friend who wants to play SG!!


And wy not more than 4 clanmembers in the Team?
The most germans are LG ( God bless them) and USA are still Bacons
and if russia and finland doesn't Found more players iam sure that Twig hasn't any problems to Play with LuckyBro :-)

But changing from 4v4 tot 6v6 would mean that many countries will not be able to play. Like Russia, france, belgium, uk, usa maybe.
In the first league it seemd allready very hard to organise 4vs4 matches, so I dont think it is the right time to change this.

And the 3 (not 4, like you said) players maximum from one clan rule is there because the point of this nations cup is to have a chance to play with other players in other teams.
Without the rule, USA vs GER would just be BACON vs LG, and thats not very special is it?

i would play for austria, but only thot and me are from austria
we need 2 teammates...

And you still think it is not enough?
(I mean with you in team Thot will finally get a chance to kill someone )

And seriously, I think mLy will figure out something about such situations. Possible it will be two small (in terms of players number) teams in one.
Anyway I prefer to keep searching at least until October or November. Then mLy will know for sure how many players will be on the tourney and which countries they are from. And I'm sure there will be a solution.
I have all four at the moment: me, my bro, Proph and one guy who has played SG for 2 hours maximum (and he told me he'll be free to play/train closer to November)
