Re: SG LEAGUE 1 - GROUP 2 Scores and Standings
Well! We had our first league game, and it was against Juan at around 11:45 PM. We both agreed that it's okay to be ref-free, since all of the other refs are in Europe, and probably wouldn't have wanted to wake up/stay up that late just to ref a game. Games were 3v3, and I hope it's alright, but Cleyton stepped in and play with Juan, as one of Juan's members decided going to bed was more important than playing, and we felt 3v2 would be too imbalanced. It was played on Cops and Robbers due to some confusion in connecting to it, but it was modified to league rules and password protected for the time and was played without interruption. Games went as follows:
Cobber Canyon 7:3 in favor of Team Bacon

Mexico 7:1 in favor of Team Bacon
https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img36/453/baconvjuan2t.png
There were many MANY close calls even with the ping advantage we had, but Team Bacon managed to be the winner of this game. Good playing against you Juan guys! We'll have to get you guys a server in South America, then we can really see what you're made of! Good luck in the rest of your games. =)

I removed KRYPT from the table and awarded three points to all opponents they haven't played against yet. Since the clan doesn't exist anymore those games are treated as walkovers.

Bacon were meant to play Frenchies today but not enough Frenchies turned up, then those that did disappeared. So I don't know whether it'll be rescheduled or a walkover or whatnot.

I'd definitely prefer a rematch... but I'm not sure when that could happen. Unless we waited for next Saturday, past the deadline... but I can't even guarantee that right now.

Re: SG LEAGUE 1 - GROUP 2 Scores and Standings
What i saw the last times when two clans were trying to organize a clan match
via SG-Chat or IRC is that most of them are unable to contact other members.
So many matches didn`t occur cause of too few players online and poor
communication possibilities inside the teams. I think for future tourneys their
should be a kind of "communication-quality-standard" that teams have to assure,
before joining the league. Our clan is far from perfect to this goal, but we could
tell before the tourney, that we couldn`t handle it. I think its better to say its too
difficult than to join without a idea to get the members together (the situation now
(some days before deadline with 1! match played) speaks for itself). In our clan we
have e-mail, clan-website-forum, teamspeak and also skype to communicate with
each other, so most of the times (i admit not everytime) we can say yes or no
to clan-matches. And i think thats better than letting people wait on servers and
wasting their time cause nobody (or too few) players appear. The league is a great
idea and esp. Donnie and mLy doing good work and also invest time into it, so i think
the clans should honor this and start fighting .
(Please don`t see this post as a harsh critic to other clans (again - our clan is also not
perfect in this topic). I only think its a thing we should think about for future contests....
....hmmmmm)

I agree with what you are saying. But I was thinking the best way to make sure that clans would start working on internal communication was to include them in the league so that there is some kind of 'awareness' and 'presseure' to start with this internal communication.
Clans will disband because of lack of communication, but this is not a bad thing, the remaining clans will have become stronger after the league and that is the main point.

Re: SG LEAGUE 1 - GROUP 2 Scores and Standings
Team Bacon and Krypt played a game tonight. We played three 3v3 games(to be explained in a moment). The Krypt line-up was Fernando, Cleyton and Juan. The Team Bacon line-up for the first game was Nixito, Caseus and Pistolerro, a new player and potential new Bacon; and the second game was without Pistolerro and with Slice. The games went as follows:
Mexico - 4:5 in favor of Krypt, ended due to time limit
Cobber Canyon - 7:0 in favor of Bacon
Durango - 7:1 in favor of Bacon
(screen shots pending, as I had a combination of annoyance and computer fail while trying to take screen shots, so I will be getting them from Slice.)
The reason we played three games, is because Team Krypt did not seem to understand the concept of a tie. So since they weren't accepting this, we did a final game to break the tie. I will let the admins decide as to whether this is acceptable or not before changing the scoreboards. I personally would like to see it be accepted, as it was Krypt's idea and they wouldn't take the tie... but of course my opinion is biased.

Rules are clear, it's a tie and each of you gets ONE POINT.

Re: SG LEAGUE 1 - GROUP 2 Scores and Standings
1. tie = tie = each 1 point
2. I removed the time limit form the sg.wars server because it seemed stupid, I didn't announce that change to the rules because I didn't think any one would notice. I didn't think about you guys who play on a different server.
Because of this, I will let you replay the match OR first map if BOTH teams agree.
I apologies for this.

Re: SG LEAGUE 1 - GROUP 2 Scores and Standings
The match between Bacon and Krypt was replayed in its entirety, due to the issue with the time limit; 2v2 Nixito and Caseus vs. Fernando and Cleyton. Both games were played on the sgwars server. Was the server not password locked? We had a LOT of random people stumble in. But they never interfered with the game.
Durango 7:2 in favor of Bacon
Alamo 7:5 in favor of Bacon
I don't have screen shots, because my computer apparently forgot how to save them right, and they're scrambly crap.

Re: SG LEAGUE 1 - GROUP 2 Scores and Standings
I was just looking at the scoreboard, and I realized that Team Bacon is the only clan who has played two games... Frenchies and Krypt, didn't you guys play? I heard Fernando say that you guys played your league game. Can you confirm this, Grelouk?
